Sandra Lax

Lax & Truax, LLC was formed in December 1998 by Attorney Lax and Louise Truax. Attorney Lax is a fellow of the American Academy of Matrimonial Lawyers, the National Academy of Elder Law Attorneys, and practices throughout the State. In addition, Attorney Lax is a certified matrimonial mediator in the State of Florida, and has mediated cases in Connecticut, New York, Massachusetts and Florida. Attorney Lax is a member of the Association of Family and Conciliation Courts.

LOUISE T. TRUAX

Louise T. Truax

Lax & Truax LLC was formed in December 1998 by Attorney Truax and
Sandra Lax. Attorney Truax is a fellow of the American Academy of Matrimonial
Lawyers. She practices throughout the State of Connecticut in both the trial and
appellate courts. She is a member of the Association of Family and Conciliation
Courts.

DANIEL J. ROBERTS

DANIEL J. ROBERTS

Attorney Roberts received his B.A. (magna cum laude) from the University of
Connecticut in 1996 and his J.D. from Quinnipiac University School of Law in 2000.
He was admitted to practice in Connecticut in 2000. Attorney Roberts joined Lax &
Truax as an associate in 2000, and became a partner in January 2009.

MARY T. SURETTE

MARY T. SURETTE

Attorney Surette received her B.A. from Purdue University in 1988 and
received her J.D. from Quinnipiac University School of Law in 2001. She was
admitted to practice in Connecticut in 2001 and before the United States Supreme
Court in 2010. Attorney Surette joined Lax & Truax, LLC as an associate in 2001,
and became a partner in January 2009.

LESLIE I. JENNINGS-LAX

LESLIE I. JENNINGS-LAX

Leslie I. Jennings-Lax has been admitted to practice before the Connecticut Bar (2004) and the United States Supreme Court (2010). She received her Bachelor of Arts degree from Trinity College in Hartford (1998), her Master of Arts in Teaching from Johns Hopkins University (2000) and her Juris Doctorate (magna cum laude) from Quinnipiac University School of Law (2004). Following law school, Attorney Jennings-Lax clerked at the Connecticut Appellate Court for two years prior to entering private practice. She joined the firm in 2013.
